Hand Peeled Baby Carrots

USA Today once said that "Baby carrots have overtaken the nation like a healthful tsunami." Indeed, hand peeled baby carrots have become a classic favorite. They have it all - they're beautiful, delicious, and the nutrients in carrots strengthen the immune system, help regulate metabolism, and are nature's best source of Vitamin A. They can be eaten raw, with dips, or cooked and served as a hot side dish. Not all baby carrots are vivid orange. They can range in color from white to yellow to red and purple. All carrots have nutritional benefits, but red carrots also contain lycopene, a pigment found in tomatoes and watermelon, which studies have shown help prevent heart disease and some cancers including prostate cancer.
