Palmer Mango

This stunning, slender mango has a distictive, deep red-purple blush. The apricot-colored flesh is superbly sweet and nearly fiber-less. They are known for having a uniqely elongated oval shape. They make a tasty addition to both fruit salad and regular salad.  Use mango in ice cream, or substitute them for peaches in a recipe.  They also make excellent additions to stir-fry and salsa. They come primarily from Brazil but can also be sourced from Puerto Rico on occasion.
