Cubanelle Pepper

Resembling a long bell pepper, the Cubanelle has a sweet to mild flavor. It tastes similar to a bell pepper, as well. They are a shade of green with tints of yellow, as they are harvested while still immature. Also known as the 'Italian Frying pepper', they are most often fried or sauteed in Italian and Latino cuisine. Topping pizzas, adding to casseroles and sandwiches, or stuffing with meats and cheeses, these mild and juciy peppers are just as delicious as they are versatile.
