Passion Fruit

It's healthy to be passionate. Passion fruit is a good source of vitamin C and has only about 15 calories. The phytochemicals in the fruit juice are considered to inhibit cancer cell growth. Eaten with the seeds, this fruit provides an excellent source of fiber. In addition to the health benefits, passion fruit is delicious. Simply cut the fruit in half and scoop out the pulp and seeds with a spoon. Choose fragrant, wrinkled fruit with a rich color. If the skin is smooth, ripen at room temperature.
